I am a photographer and fiber artist living in Ossineke, Michigan. I have been experimenting with gourds and do basket weaving, Native American designs and seeing what techniques work best for me. Most of what I do, I am self taught and have learned from pictures or tutorials on the web, in magazines and word of mouth. There are no gourd groups, to my knowledge, here at the tip o'the mitt.
I am growing gourds for the first time in this area and hope that I can raise a successful crop. If they develop nicely, then I will be offering them for sale.
